Eagles Nest Shiraz 2006, of the Constantia Wine Valley, was selected by Mathew Jukes as one of his top 50 South African wines for 2009. Describing the wine as “A great shocker with intense pepperiness, plum and damson fruit and all totally under control with genial tannins and calm alchohol.”
Mathew is wine correspondant for the Daily Mail, in London,and is read by over 9 million people each week. He has won the International Wine and Spirit Competition Trophy for Communicator of the Year, writes best selling wine guides in the UK and Australia as well being a wine buyer and respected wine judge.
